Today we will present you a project to create an automated line for a company Baku Steel Company, one of the largest metallurgical enterprises in Azerbaijan.

Project parameters

Company Baku Steel Company contacted us with a request to create automated pipe conveying lines and their subsequent marking. The line had to meet strict requirements:

• Diameter of pipes: 60 to 245 mm.
• Pipe lengths: 6 to 13.5 m.
• Wall thickness: 5 to 23 mm.
• Time Cycle: maximum 72 seconds per pipe (50 pipes per hour).

The project was implemented during six monthsfrom the signing of the contract to the acceptance test at our plant.

We provided the customer with a comprehensive approach:

1. Design solution. Based on the client's requirements, we designed the optimal pipe transport system.
2. Production of equipment. All components have been manufactured in our factory in accordance with the highest quality standards.

Key elements of the line include:

• Conveyors for transporting pipes.
• Dosing and accumulation tables.
• Pipe marking system.

All facilities meet international standards:

• EN 13155 - Standard governing the safety of lifting equipment.
• EN ISO 9001:2008 - quality management system.

Within the project, representatives of the company visited our plant Baku Steel Company, chief mechanic Suleyman Dadashov and the chief electrician Hamlet Mehdiyevto take part in preliminary tests of the equipment. The tests were successful and an acceptance report was signed by both parties.
